Womens Self Defence

Pro wrestler Lisa King joined in to demonstrate some basic self defence techniques that can be used by women to take anyone down.

In this short video find out how to do a wrist lock, and find out the effect it has on a person.

It is important for women to be able to defend themselves and learn self defence skills such as wrist locks to enable them to get away from an attacker who is likely to be bigger and stronger than them.

Of course violence is not advocated or condoned and these techniques should only be used as a last resort if you are in danger, as injury could be sustained as a result.

Remember in an emergency or if you are in danger always make every effort to get away and phone the police as soon as you can.

The wrist locks shown here are used in BJJ and wrestling and othe rmartial arts.
